We hold monthly meetings throughout the year (except for the summer season when we are all too busy in our gardens!).

Although we don't have meetings in the summer months we normally hold a summer garden party (usually at one of our members' gardens), as well as day trips to renowned gardens, county shows etc. We also hold our Summer Show.

Lots of interesting and entertaining subjects are covered.   Our meetings give you a chance to get to know friendly, like-minded people, and maybe learn something new. At the end of the meeting the speakers normally answer any questions you may have on the topic they have covered.

Why not give us a try?

Non-member admission fees are 4 per meeting (including tea/coffee and biscuits).  If you like what you see - then why not become a member.  This costs just 6 a year but gives you a reduced admission rate of 2 to the meetings. After just 3 meetings your membership fee will have paid for itself.

The meetings are normally held in the Mersea Island Museum (see schedule below) except for April and start at 7.30pm.  Car parking is limited at the museum but there is a car park nearby.

Meetings Scheduled for the rest of 2019 are:

bulletTuesday 11 June 2019: Special Celebration Party - for members only - Admission by TICKET!
